As we continue to work to improve Oral English in our school we have concentrated on conversational skills in the last number of weeks. To consolidate this work you can help your child at home by encouraging him/her to
• Ask appropriate questions to gain knowledge and progress conversation.
• Express an opinion and further develop it.
• Take turns speaking within a group.
• Speak clearly and pronounce words properly.
• Make eye contact when speaking and listening.
