Carracastle After-School Service is managed by the same Committee as the Pre-School Service. Although opened in early 2007, the service moved into the purpose-built facilities in September 2007

Mission Statement
Our aim is to provide a home from home for national school-aged children where they can relax, socialise, create and play as well as be supported in their homework.


To provide a home from home atmosphere after a day at school where children can chill out, use their imagination through games activities or sport , and mix with their peers.

To achieve this we need partnership with parents

Opening hours
Monday to Friday 2:00 - 6:00.

The After-School Service caters for a maximum of NUMBER children per session and maintains a ratio of no more than 10 children per adult.

Community Childcare subvention scheme rates apply and on a weekly basis.
Yearly Programme
The After-School Service will have
Themed Campsday care on School Closure days & In-service days
